Autodidacte, elle touchait à tout, des dessins minimalistes à lignes fines aux immenses toiles peintes de couleurs vives.

En 2025, Daphne Odjig devient la première femme artiste des Premières Nations à être honorée sur une pièce de circulation canadienne, dont le motif au revers est repris avec de nouveaux détails ici, sur cette pièce en argent pur à 99,99 %.
