Bring fall colours to your collection with this UHR SML, now with rose gold plating.
Canada is a four-season nation known for its year-round beauty, but nature’s ever-shifting palette peaks in the fall, turning our landscapes into a showstopping canopy of colour. This is when the diversity of our vast forests is on full display, with each tree species making a unique contribution to the woodland landscapes that are vital not only to our natural heritage, but to our very identity as Canadians.
An expression of pride for these incredible landscapes, the Heart of the Forest pulsating field pattern returns in 2025, transporting the viewer into the heart of a misty forest on this 1-oz. coin’s reverse. The trees fall in and out of view behind the Silver Maple Leaf (SML) design struck in Ultra‑High Relief (UHR) and highlighted by rose gold plating, which stands in for red, the boldest of Canada’s fall hues and official colours.
A triple-tech design: UHR, rose gold plating, and a pulsating pattern!

Steven Rosati
A nod to Canada’s red fall foliage, your coin’s reverse features a selectively rose gold-plated version of Walter Ott’s Silver Maple Leaf (SML) bullion design, struck in Ultra‑High Relief and set against a Heart of the Forest pulsating pattern that showcases Canada’s vast forests. This pattern allows for a unique light play that, when tilted, creates the illusion of an endless forest shrouded in mist, with tall conifers seemingly falling in and out of view. The words “CANADA”, “FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR” and the purity standard of “9999” are also engraved on the reverse. The obverse features the rose gold-plated effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
